Tendencias del Programa de Arquitectura
y las Universidades Nacional de Colombia y de los Andes, a nivel
local, entre otras instituciones. Para reflexionar sobre tendencias de
la investigación en el campo de los Programas de Arquitectura, se
desarrolló una investigación exploratorio-descriptiva de abordaje
cualitativo, con base en el método hermenéutico-dialéctico, siguiendo
las etapas de operatividad de ese enfoque, de acuerdo con 4 aspectos
o exigencias: 1) elaboración de categorías analíticas, 2) ordenación
y clasificación de los datos, 3) lectura horizontal y transversal de
los documentos, y, 4) análisis final - informe. Como resultado de
este Capítulo, se construye aquí un horizonte de tendencias a nivel
internacional, latinoamericano y colombiano, desde los componentes
disciplinares antes mencionados.

Abstract
In this chapter, the revision of the Teaching of Architecture trends
is raised as a problem, based on the analysis of the lines and
trends that, traditionally, have been part of the different schools.
The purpose is to show an overview of the research work of the
Schools of Architecture worldwide, from components and proposals,
such as the Design Project, Urbanism, Theory and History of
Architecture and the City, Representation and Techniques of
Building. Research work that is justified in the need to establish an
updated reference on the development of scientific activities in the
Schools of Architecture, which allows locating the practices of the
CECAR Architecture Program. The methodology used consists in
the review of documentation that illustrates the main practices of
institutions teaching architecture, authors, publications and means
of dissemination, events and scientific networks that concentrate
their work. Where institutions like Harvard and MIT, ETSAB in
Spain, University of Sao Paulo, UBA in Argentina and the Colombian
universities Universidad Nacional and Universidad de los Andes,
among other institutions, stand out. In order to reflect on research
trends in the field of Architecture Programs, an exploratory-descriptive
investigation of a qualitative approach was developed, based on the
hermeneutic-dialectical method, following the operational stages of
this approach, in accordance with four aspects or requirements: 1)
